My Approach

I work with individuals that are seeking meaningful and lasting change and healing, efficiently and quickly. My clients want results, not endless talk. My passion and goal as a therapist is to help my clients achieve that change, healing and resolution that they seek at the deepest levels, but also in the most rapid way possible. Towards that end, I've  made it my mission to get trained in a wide and diverse range of disciplines and psychotherapeutic modalities and to continuously add to and refine my offerings to better serve my clients needs. That mission has guided my quest for something that provides even deeper and faster results, leading to my development of Cold Assisted Psychotherapy™.

Aside from Cold Assisted Psychotherapy, some of the modalities I am trained in and utilize in my practice are the following: TIST (Trauma Informed Stabilization Therapy), EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing),  EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), Brainspotting, Silva Method, Compassionate Inquiry, Focusing Psychotherapy, Breathwork, Ego State Therapies, Sedona Method, HeartMath, Client Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and more. I am constantly acquiring more tools for my toolkit so that you can have more for yours!

I offer in person and telehealth therapy through a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform. Besides for weekly therapy sessions, I also offer a unique, intensive, Master Session.

My work and training in addiction has given me a broad and deep understanding of the complexities and contradictions of the human psyche.  We struggle against our own inner demons, doing the best we can to provide even temporary relief from anxiety, sadness, insomnia, loneliness and despair.

At the same time, we are constantly striving to be free and at peace both internally and interpersonally.  Often we get stuck or tripped up by our own ineffective coping mechanisms. I can help you untangle the web that keeps you unsettled and dissatisfied, whether you are struggling with the legacy of trauma and  abuse, addictions or compulsions, intense emotions, relationship issues, stress, rage, feelings of inadequacy, shame, confusion or emptiness - or any other manifestation of a life that’s currently out of balance. I will help you find the calm, confidence, and serenity that you are seeking.

Meet Chaim

I am a psychotherapist with an LISW (LCSW) licensure. In addition to my academic degree, I hold numerous certifications in specialized psychotherapeutic treatment modalities, bringing the most thorough and up-to-date interventions to my clients.

I have been in private practice since 2019. Alongside my practice I have also served as the Clinical Director of Prosperity Haven, an inpatient treatment center for Addictions and Mental Health based in Chardon, OH. In my capacity as Clinical Director, I developed treatment protocols and psychotherapeutic programming, managed the entire clinical program and staff, as well as providing trauma and addiction psychotherapy.

I am a married father of 5, deeply involved in the stress of life just like everyone else. I have a sense of humor that helps me through the tough spots, and I love laughing with my clients as well. My clients appreciate my warmth and authenticity as well as my skill, insight, practicality and caring.
